True Wheel, LLC is a new company that is introducing a product that was Innovated & design by two entrepreneurs. Lester Ashley, owner/operator of Elora Pallet Company and A.J. Williams, owner/operator/Machinist, of T & W Machine collaborated the ingenuity of ideation & design for this product.
Mr. Ashley , with 26 years of various bandsaw operations, has discovered the most challenging point to operating bandsaws is the maintaining and endurance of the saw blades. Often the blade will hang up or wrap around the wheel, scarring the blade. This results in minimal "blade life" , as significant as the breakage of 2-3 blades daily. This slows down production and is added cost to the company. Based on this observation, he designed a self sufficient remedy that worked efficiently on a drive wheel but not on an Idler wheel.
Mr. Ashley contacted Mr. Williams to rehearse his idea and innovation and at this point Mr. Williams designed this product. This product is universal and designed to grind or crown all 1" bandsaws on the machine, without displacing or removing of the wheel.
The True Wheel was designed to crown pallet resaws for cutting pallet boards above and below the belt wheels. The True Wheel will crown linebar resaws and portable band saws.
